Pro Computer Repairs is a trading name of Pro Computer Repairs & Sales, ABN 60 987 516 757. We stand behind the work we do. This page sets out what is covered, for how long, and how to make a claim.
Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee
Every repair carries a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on our labour. If something we worked on is not right, bring it back within 30 days and we will put it right at no charge.
This covers the specific repair we carried out. It does not cover unrelated faults, or new damage that happens after the repair.
Parts warranty
Parts carry the warranty offered by the supplier, and that varies by part. The two most common are:
- Replacement LCD screens: 3 months
- Replacement batteries: 12 months
For any other part, we confirm the warranty period on your quote before the work starts.
What is not covered
- Physical damage, liquid damage, or signs of misuse after the repair
- Battery capacity loss through normal use
- Faults unrelated to the repair we carried out
- Loss or damage beyond the repair itself
Back up your data first
Please back up your files before any repair. We take care with your device, but we are not responsible for data loss during a repair or a data recovery attempt.
Making a claim
Email us at info@procomputerrepairs.com.au with your original proof of service and a description of the fault. Bring the device to our Mitchelton workshop so we can assess it. If the fault is covered, we repair or replace the part at no charge.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a service or part has a major fault, is not as described, or does not do what it is meant to do.
