Scope of Warranty
At Pro Computer Repairs & Sales (PCRS), we provide a limited warranty for all repair services and products sold. We guarantee that our services and products will meet the quality and functionality standards as described and will be fit for their intended purpose under normal use.
Please note: This warranty applies solely to the specific repairs or replacement services performed by PCRS and the parts we replace. It does not extend to subsequent damage or issues unrelated to the original service.
Limitation of Liability
PCRS is not liable for any consequential loss or damage, regardless of the cause. We are also not responsible for issues arising after repairs that are unrelated to the services or repairs performed by PCRS.
Warranty Period
- Labour: Our warranty for repair services covers the labour performed for a period of 30 days from the date of service completion.
- Replacement Parts: Warranty for replacement parts ranges from 3 to 12 months, depending on the manufacturer’s warranty, unless specified otherwise.
Data Responsibility
PCRS does not cover personal data under this warranty. Customers are strongly encouraged to back up all important data before any repair service, as we cannot be held responsible for any data loss, even during data recovery services.
Return Policy
Products sold by PCRS come with a “Return to Base” (RTB) warranty, as stated on each product page. Customers are responsible for the cost of returning any defective products to PCRS for assessment or replacement.
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, customers must return the defective product to PCRS along with the original proof of purchase. Please note, this warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Issues unrelated to the repairs or services performed by PCRS
Governing Law
This Warranty and Returns Policy is governed by the laws of Australia and adheres to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
